With some of the best views of Boston, this penthouse needed an upgrade as well as a new connecting stair for its mezzanine. The client wanted the focus to be around a grand elegant staircase, which also needed to be open and non-intrusive in the penthouse. The new staircase was custom made, consisting of a stainless steel structural spine, absolute black granite treads, and glass railings. New custom glass barn doors were also utilize throughout the apartment, to give it a more contemporary look and loft like feeling.
